This site represents our HIT partnership, which has come together to help advance health information exchange (HIE) in the State of California. By doing so, we have the best chance to transform public health in our state.
We are a group of government agencies, associations, organizations and individuals sponsored by the California Health and Human Services Agency and its ARRA subgrantee Cal eConnect.
Because health information technology (HIT) is complex and affects numerous people and institutions, we approach it as a multi-faceted project that requires the skills, experience and knowledge of a broad community of expertise. By doing so, we have the best chance to transform healthcare in our state.
