IT in healthcare creates jobs and contributes to a vital economy. As a vendor or business, we encourage you to take advantage of the new health IT projects coming your way.

We’ll soon begin listing RFPs, RFIs and RFOs from partner eHealth organizations so you can have all of the current opportunities listed in one central location. While most nonprofit organizations also advertise their bid opportunities on their own websites, by providing everything in one place you can more easily evaluate these opportunities. (We also recommend checking these individual websites periodically, too.) In the near future, direct access to these bids will be available here, on the California eHealth Initiative website.

Making HIE Happen

Did you know?

All State of California agency procurements are governed by California laws and policies and are overseen by the California Department of General Services. The procurements process of the nonprofit organization involved in HIE projects that are funded by the Federal or State funds are governed by their organizational charters and their respective Board of Directors. These various procurement laws, policies and guidelines can be requested from the entity that you choose to explore doing business with. These documents can help educate prospective vendors and ensure that the procurement processes are fair, equitable and of the highest integrity.
