The California eHealth Initiative Website

What We Do

Many websites exist with information about eHealth in California: what it is, who does it, how to use incentives. As a portal for information, our job is gathering all this information in one place and then pointing you in the right direction. To this end, we provide key links, descriptions, and information to get you started. Whether you want to join the health workforce, learn about grants and funding, or figure out how to switch over to electronic health records, you can find it here. Our hope is that by presenting everything in one place, you can navigate the health IT landscape and find the right path.

Who We Are

The California eHealth Initiative is a group of organizations committed to adopting health information technology (HIT) and electronic health in California. We work with California eHealth partners who have a mission related to ARRA/HITECH health information technology initiatives and/or stakeholder organizations. Together, we’re working together to support healthier people and communities.

Our Goal

Throughout California, an interdependent and complex web of eHealth efforts is taking place. It can be hard to know where to turn or who to ask. That’s why we put together this site: We want you to easily locate relevant and timely information about HIT, telemedicine, electronic medical records, and joining the health workforce so you can put our efforts into action.

We want to hear from you!

We believe that eHealth is a collaborative effort. Please let us know if this site is useful, and give us any feedback on how we can improve.
